My (aka Dan's) experience with Samsung, Xiaomi and Google
Hi, I'm Dan, I've been invited by devmatei to talk about my experience with these brands.
First of all, Samsung.
Oh Samsung, I've used this brand for a while and I still like it.
My first Samsung phone was the S5, I don't really remember much because I was a child, but for me it was fine. If I had to rate it, it would be an 8/10.
My second Samsung phone was the S6 (yes, I know I'm just going generation by generation, but idgaf). It was pretty good, it felt good in the hands when I was a child, and I had many games on it. Unfortunately the battery got swollen. If I had to rate it, it would be a 6/10.
My third Samsung was the A55, I got it back in 2024 and loved it. It was amazing, but the storage was getting slow and it had a display defect that happened sometimes. I traded it for a Redmi Note 15, we will get to that. If I had to rate it, it would be a 7/10.
Now it's time for Xiaomi.
My first (and hopefully last) Xiaomi phone was the Redmi Note 15. Wasn't a great experience, but it was okay. Performance was ass, so were the cameras, and no ultrawide cam on a $250 "midrange"! If I had to rate it, it would be a 5/10.
Now the Google Pixels.
My first Google phone is the 6a. It's a great phone, good cameras (I would say better than the A55), decent chipset, but a bad battery since mine is at 71%. I got it used, that's the reason why. If someone asked me if I would've gotten it back in 2022 when it released, I would say yes. If I have to rate it, it would be a 7/10.
And that's the end of my post, goodbye ^_^
